Welcome to Mountain Birders. You have discovered a truly unique organization. We are not a business designed for tourists. Rather, we are a group of biologists and avid birders who are dedicated to helping  birders and naturalists of all skill levels check species off of their life-lists while taking in the beautiful Mission Mountains and Flathead Lake in northwest Montana. We have no lodging, no chef's, no day planners. We camp simply yet comfortably, eat basically yet well and see the birds that you want to see. If it is five star service you want, there are plenty of all-inclusive lodges around Flathead Lake that will gladly accomodate. If it is five-star Montana birding you desire, take a weekend with us. Our small group size and barebones style means we can customize our trips to find the birds you are looking for.
